RBC – Direct Deposit
What Is a Direct Deposit Form from RBC?
An RBC direct deposit form is a bank-issued document that shows your banking details in a standardized format. Mortgage lenders use it to set up automatic mortgage payments accurately and securely.
If you’re buying, refinancing, or renewing a mortgage in Canada, RBC’s direct deposit form can be used instead of a void cheque.
What Information Does an RBC Direct Deposit Form Include?
An RBC direct deposit form typically includes:
- Your full name (as shown on your RBC account)
- Branch (transit) number
- Institution number
- Account number
- Royal Bank of Canada as the financial institution
This information allows your lender to authorize pre-authorized mortgage payments.
